Combing Equipment |
A traditional way of preparing wool is combing. The double row wool combs introduced by Louet are most efficient on medium fibers. One comb is clamped to a table and the other is used in a combing motion to straighten the fibers. The tines are especially designed. They are not sharp, and still comb efficiently. They are made of nickel-plated steel. The combs are made of lacquered beech and come with instructions.
Mini-Combs The popular single row mini combs are an addition to our line that has become a token of Louet quality and usefulness. These handy tools are a unique device, which can be used for dehairing and fine fiber combing. After combing, fiber can be pulled into a sliver or spun straight from the combs. Louet cares about your safety, and has ensured that the tines of the combs are not sharp.
